The Chairman of Wyre Forest District Council for 2003/04 is Councillor Pauline Hayward. Pauline has represented Blakedown Ward since 1982. She is also a parish councillor on Churchill & Blakedown PC, School Governor at Blakedown CE First School and active member of Churchill Forge Trust.
The Leader is Councillor Stephen Clee. Stephen represents Bewdley Ward and has been actively involved with Wyre Forest DC since he was first elected in 1992. Stephen is also a Worcestershire County Councillor and Bewdley Town Councillor.
Deputy Leader Councillor Stephen Williams represents Chaddesley Corbett on the District Council. He has been a district councillor since 1999. Formerly a parish councillor he brings a wealth of local government knowledge to the group.
Councillor Nathan Desmond represents Oldington & Foley Park Ward. He was first elected in May 2002. Nathan brings a modern look to the district council by halfing the groups average age by 100%!
Our fifth Councillor is Marcus Hart. Marcus won a seat off the Liberal Democrats in June 2002. He again brings a youthful image to the local team.
Councillor Sue Meeking is our second member for Oldington & Foley Park Ward. Sue was elected in May 2003 holding a seat that had been Conservative since 1999.
Councillor James Dudley is our second Councillor elected to serve the people of Sutton Park Ward. James brings to the group a wealth of business connections both locally and internationally.
Maureen Mason captured the solid Labour seat of Areley Kings in May 2003. Maureen has been a Stourport-on- Severn Town Councillor since 1987. She brings a wealth of local knowledge to the group and will be a valuable asset.
Councillor June Salter is our second district councillor in Stourport-on-Severn. June has represented Mitton ward since 2000. She is extreamly popular locally and has a great interest in Planning & Environmental issues on the council.
Councillor Maureen Aston represents Mitton Ward on the Wyre Forest district council.Maureen is a senior board member of the Wyre Forest Community Housing company.
Councillor Tony Hinton has represented Greenhill Ward on the district council since 2000. He was Chairman of the Council in 2002-03 and Vice Chairman of the councils Licensing Committee.
